Description

The main table section of the display is clearly the most important. The main table is used to display both calendars and dialog boxes. All main tables share a couple of items such as a header, body and footer (not to be confused with the web page's header, body and footer).

The Main Table may be included in a Display Template by using the following tag: <cw_d object="maintable">

The Header of the Main Table

Every main table has a header:

The header has three sections.

The title of each page generated by the program is displayed in the main table header. If the current page is a dialog only the title is displayed, if the current page is a calendar then the title includes the Previous and Next icons for accessing other calendar periods and a Today icon for returning the calendar to the current date. Following these icons is the current date for this calendar or a date selection drop down. The display of this section of the header may be modified using calendar header format option in the Edit Calendar screen.

The next section, the Calendar Dropdown will display whenever there are two or more active calendars in the system. One selects the calendar one would like to access and then presses the Go button (or on JavaScript enabled browsers the calendar will change automatically). The calendar selection dropdown section of the header can be hidden by un-checking it on the Edit Calendar screen.

The final section, the Icon Tray, contains the print, default calendar icon, to do list icon (optional), the contact list icon (optional) and the help icon.

  • Press the Default calendar icon to return to the view type that is specified as the default viewtype in the Edit Calendar screen.

  • Press the to do list icon to open the To Do List Component if it is registered.

  • Press the contact list icon to open the Contact List Component if it is registered.

  • Press the print icon to print the current page.

  • Select the help icon to open a context sensitive help page for the current page.

The Body of the Main Table

Following the header part of the main table is the body section. The body section displays the 'meat of the matter'. This is where the text of a dialog box or the calendar grid, list or report is displayed.

This section of the display is also called the 'innertable'. You may include the 'innertable' in a Display Template by using the following tag:

<cw_d object="innertable">

There are modification one can make to this section - please see the following help pages for more information:

The Footer of the Main Table

The footer of the main table simply completes the main table display. The Main Table Footer may display some additional information such as notes about the status of the calendar and/or a listing of merged in calendars. The background color of this item is the same as the background color of the header.

The 'Powered by...' link appears on every table displayed by this program.

Important Note: You may remove the 'Powered by..." link from the display for $250.00 one time fee. If you would like to remove this link please call us. We can send a different license to you upon payment.
